Significant Winter Storm Possible From Monday Night Through Tuesday

An area of low pressure will track to our south through Monday.  Some light snow should develop through Monday afternoon and evening as a result.  The low pressure will then rapidly intensify off of the Northeast coast Monday night and Tuesday.  Uncertainty remains as to the exact track of this low pressure, but if it tracks close enough to the coast, portions of the area could see a significant snowfall.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Albany paving project affects traffic

ALBANY - A paving project will affect traffic on Whitehall Road.

Officials say crews will be milling and paving Whitehall Road between Cardinal Avenue and Marwood Street starting at 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Starting at 9:00 a.m. eastbound traffic will be detoured using Cardinal Avenue to Hackett Boulevard to Ramsey Place.

Westbound traffic will be maintained on Whitehall Road

The paving will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
