Moderate to Heavy Snow @ Times to Continue Through the Evening



Narrow bands of moderate to heavy snow continue to evolve across the region in response to the storm developing to our south.  Expect periods of 1" to occasionally 2" per hour snowfall rates through 8-10pm with snowfall becoming lighter and more intermittent through the pre-dawn hours on Thursday. Poor to difficult travel conditions in low visibility and snow packed roads will persist well into the night.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Albany man gets 3 years for box cutter attack

ALBANY-- An Albany man is sentenced to 3 years in prison for attacking a woman with a box cutter in Albany last spring.
26-year-old Leroy Stanford pleaded guilty to Assault in July.
On April 13, 2013 Stanford was at a party on First Street when he got into an argument with a woman.
The woman left the party to get away from Stanford, but he followed her and sliced her hand and ear.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she received 25 stitches.
Stanford was also sentenced to 3 years post release supervision.
