Police: 4 arrested for growing marijuana in Washington County
WASHINGTON COUNTY - Four arrests have been made after the Washington County Sheriff's Office halted weed growing operations throughout Washington County back on August 28 and 29.
Officials say that several thousand plants were destroyed in a two day operation, after a combined effort from New York State Police Aviation, Vermont National Guard Counter Drug Aviation, members from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, New York State Police, New York State Forest Rangers and En-Con Police, Hudson Falls Police, Glens Falls Police, Cambridge-Greenwich Police, Granville Police, Whitehall Police, Warren County Sheriff's Office and Washington County Probation Department.
Arrested and charged with unlawfully growing cannabis:
Mark J. Quackenbush, 51, of 1675 State Route 196 in Kingsbury
Daniel Albano, 49, of 197 North Street Road in Argyle
David Erikson, 38, of 456 County Route 60 in Cambridge
Christopher Blackmer, 21, of 1278 Farley Road in Fort Ann was arrested for possession of marijuana and was issued an appearance ticket.
