Occasional Snow To Continue Into the Evening, Slow and Slick Travel Persisting

Patchy areas of light snow wil persist through the evening with brief localized bursts of moderate snow possible through 8pm.  Additional snow accumulations will be spotty and light, generally 1" or less through the evening.  The cold air in place will continue to support slow and slippery travel conditions with less traveled roads, parking lots, and sidewalks remaining snow covered through the night.

6th graders learn about college

ALBANY - UAlbany and the City School District of Albany teamed up on Wednesday to show that it is never to early to prepare for college.

Sixth-grade students at William Hacket Middle School learned about the college experience through workshops led by UAlbany students, staff, and faculty.

The students were taught the benefits of healthy choices, college and career readiness, and about law and justice.

Students from the college also performed, including  UAlbany's acclaimed dance crew, Knemesis, specializing in Hip Hop, RnB and Reggae, as well as the dance troupe of UAlbany student club Fuerza Latina.
