Shelter reopens after fire damage

HUDSON - A cat shelter in Hudson has a new lease on life a year and a half after fire caused extensive damage.

The redesigned, remodeled cat adoption center on Warren Street opened today.
At one point the director thought it might never open again but now she's right back at it - finding homes for cats.

Animal kind also works to stop the proliferation of unwanted cats through spaying and neutering.
