Police: traffic stop leads to drug arrests

ALBANY - A traffic stop leads to an arrest on drug charges for two Brooklyn men.

Police say Jeffrey Johnson, 53, and Kenneth Moore, 52, were pulled over initially for a broken headlight and a seatbelt violation Thursday

An investigation by State Police revealed 300 glassine envelopes containing approximately 9 grams of heroin and a baton inside the vehicle.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance, in addition, Johnson was charged with weapon possession.

The two were arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and sent to the Albany County Jail without bail.
