Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England today into tonight as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Any mix will quickly change to snow, and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering overnight.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility today/tonight  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Expert weighs in on Syria's impact on US

Director of National Center for Security and Preparation, Rick Mathews, spoke with Liz Bishop on the crisis in Syria and the impact it could potentially have on the United States if our military got involved.

The National Center for Security & Preparedness (NCSP) was established in July 2007. It is affiliated with the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany, State University of New York. Its offices are located in Albany, NY, but its operations extend across the State of New York and the nation.
