17 broad daylight home break-ins in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK -- A string of home burglaries, all done during the day, has Clifton Park residents on edge.
The Saratoga County Sheriff's Department says all the break-ins happened sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. when the residents were not home.
17 burglaries have been reported in Country Knolls since June 30th.
Investigators say the person or people responsible are getting in mainly through unlocked doors and windows, but have also cut screens and pushed in air-conditioners to gain access to the homes.
No suspect descriptions are available. What was taken in each of the separate burglaries is also unknown at this time.
The Sheriff's Department wants to remind residents to keep their doors and windows locked when they aren't home and to report any suspicious activity you may see.
The Sheriff's Department has also stepped up patrols in light of this string of break-ins.
