Nazario takes over 206th MP Company

LATHAM -- Captain Carlos Nazario took control of the 206th Military Police Company of the New York National Guard.
Nazario accepted the company's flag from outgoing commander Captain Kevin Jusza in a ceremony on Tuesday.  Nazario started in the US Marine Corps in 1994, where he served for nine years.  During his service, he was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Following his service, he joined the New York Army National Guard.
In addition to training Iraqi police forces, the 206th was also deployed to Long Island to help with the emergency response to Superstorm Sandy in 2012.
