Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Special Olympics New York Silks & Satins 5K Run

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Over 1,000 runners came out this morning to run the Silks and Satins 5k run to help raise money for the Special Olympics.

This race takes place through the tree-lined streets of Saratoga Springs, beginning at the intersection of East Ave. and George St. Sponsors for this year's event include Price Chopper, TrustCo Bank, NYSID, Saratoga Casino & Raceway, 107.7 WGNA, 105.7 Pop Crush, and Stone Industries.
