Troy girl admits role in robbery, killing of Takim Smith

TROY -- Another of the seven teenagers accused of taking part in the robbery and killing of a man in eastern New York has pleaded guilty in the case.

The Times Union of Albany reports that 18-year-old Keyanna Bradley pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree robbery and described the Feb. 4 killing of 21-year-old Takim Smith in Troy.

Prosecutor said Smith was lured with a promise of sex to an apartment where he was stabbed to death and robbed of a cell phone and jewelry.

Five other teens had already pleaded guilty, with most agreeing to testify against the man accused of killing Smith, 19-year-old Eric Aaron Mallard. He has pleaded not guilty to robbery and second-degree murder charges.

Bradley is expected to be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
