Patchy areas of light snow wil persist through the evening with brief localized bursts of moderate snow possible through 8pm.  Additional snow accumulations will be spotty and light, generally 1" or less through the evening.  The cold air in place will continue to support slow and slippery travel conditions with less traveled roads, parking lots, and sidewalks remaining snow covered through the night.

Man charged with murder of retired Schenectady nun

SCHENECTADY -- Schenectady Police say they've made an arrest in the murder of a local retired nun.
Michael Briggs has been charged with murder, robbery and grand larceny after investigators say he broke into 82-year-old Mary Greco's home and killed her.
