Police: Substitute teacher caught selling pills near school

POUGHKEEPSIE -- A substitute high school teacher is facing felony drug charges for allegedly selling drugs outside the school he was working at.
State Police say 26-year-old Vincent Lynch of Wappinger Falls was selling oxycodone pills within 1,000 feet of Poughkeepsie High School during regular school hours while he was on the clock.
Lynch was charged with 11 felonies -- three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in or near school grounds, four counts of criminal sale of controlled substance and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail without bail.
