Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Bennington man killed in motorcycle accident

WHITE CREEK -- A Bennington man is dead after his motorcycle went off the road Saturday night.

According to Washington County Sheriff Jeffery Murphy, the Sheriff's Office investigated the fatal motorcycle accident at 8:08 PM on County Route 67 in the Town of White Creek.

The driver Christopher Hardy, age 43 of North Bennington, VT Was operating a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle went off the opposite side of the road into the trees when he tried to make a right hand turn around a curve. Hardy was ejected from the motorcycle. 

Hardy was pronounced dead at the scene.  An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
