FLOOD WATCH Through Friday Morning - Strong Wind Gusts Likely Christmas Day

Additional runoff from melting snow and one final round of steady heavier rainfall, due to move across the region from west to east between 3am and 8am, could become sufficient to produce flooding of small streams and creeks as well minor flooding of some main stem rivers into Friday morning.  Urban and poor drainage flooding will also be possible between 3am and 8am as the final round of rain moves through.  Strong westerly wind gusts will develop in the wake of the rain on Christmas Day, with gusts from 40-50 mph possible during the afternoon.
