Police: Beware of fox in Gloversville

GLOVERSVILLE -- Police have asked residents to be extra vigilant after reports of a potentially rabid fox in the northwest part of the city.
Police said that a person was attacked by the fox in the 300-block of Bleecker Street, and that the fox chased people on Lafayette and Bleecker Streets. 
Residents have been advised to call the Gloversville Police Department and to not approach the animal if it is seen.
