Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

IG: State worker accused of stealing gas

ALBANY -- A state worker is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing gas from state-owned pumps and using it for his personal use.
According to Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott, 55-year-old Bruce Chapple was caught on video surveillance footage filling portable gas cans at state-owned fuel pumps at the W. Averill Harriman State Office Complex.
Chapple, who makes $32,000 as a maintenance employee, was also caught putting the cans into her personal vehicle.
He's been with the state for over 12 years.
Chapple was arrested and charged with four counts of felony offering a false instrument for filing, four counts of petit larceny, and official misconduct.
If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison for each felony count - a total of 16 years.
Chapple will be back in court on July 29th.
