St. Rose president is stepping down

ALBANY - Sudden changes at the top at the College of St Rose as the President resigns.

President David Szczerbacki took office on July 1, 2012, after serving for eight years as vice president of academic affairs and provost. He is the ninth president of the College and the fifth lay president since Saint Rose became a private, independent institution in 1969.

In his letter to the College's board, Szczerbacki stated that he made his decision for personal reasons.

Within hours of the announcement, Szczerbacki's online presence, including his college twitter feed, and contributions to the college website have been removed or disabled, this was according to The Saint Rose Chronicle.
