Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Interest due on late NYS tax refunds

ALBANY -- As CBS6 reported earlier in May, there has been a delay in processing paper State Tax returns.
Officials with the Taxation and Finance Department have denied the delays, but workers within the department have told CBS6 that there was a significant backlog due to errors with a new vendor handling the paper returns.  Plenty of people have called CBS6 and said that their returns appear to be missing in action.
Refunds not delivered to taxpayers by Thursday will have to include interest.
Jerry Gretzinger called and e-mailed the Department of Taxation and Finance on Wednesday looking for answers, but received no new information.
Some people who told us about their problems weeks ago said that when they call for updates, they're still being told that no information is available.
