Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

"Bootmobile" visits Albany

ALBANY  -  The L.L. Bean Bootmobile made a stop in Albany today to encourage New Yorkers to roll up their sleeves for the second annual “I Love My Park Day.”

The day is meant to celebrate New York’s state parks and historical sites.  On Saturday, 4,000 volunteers from across the state will be helping to clean up parks across the state.

Today, the bootmobile visited the Empire State Plaza.
