Saratoga County man facing burlary, DWI charges

QUEENSBURY -- A Gansevoort man is facing charges after the Warren County Sheriff's Office says he broke into a church and drove off with some stolen goods while drunk.

23 year old Daniel Manning was arrested by deputies early Monday morning when they responded to a call about a suspicious car in Queensbury.

They found electronics, musical instruments, and several pieces of lawn and garden equipment in the vehicle.

A property check of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church, located at 21 Weeks Road revealed that the building had been forcibly entered.

Investigators say the property found in Manning's car came from that church.

Manning aslo failed field sobriety tests and was charged with felony DWI because of a previous DWI conviction.

Manning was arraigned in Queensbury Court and sent to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash, $60,000 bond.

Additional charges are possible.
