Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Tonight into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England tonight, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty winds at times, causing blowing and drifting snow. There's the potential for whiteout conditions at times, leading to dangerous travel late tonight through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

2 Saugerties men charged in baseball bat beating

SAUGERTIES (AP) -- Authorities say two men have been charged after they ran another man's vehicle off a Hudson Valley road and beat him with a baseball bat.
Police in the Ulster County town of Saugerties say 20-year-old Christopher Moxham of Mount Marion and 40-year-old Thomas DeCicco of Glasco were arrested Saturday and charged with assault.
Officials say the men forced the victim's vehicle off the Glasco Turnpike last Thursday, then chased him into an open field and used a baseball bat to beat and choke him.
Moxham and DeCicco were released after being ordered to appear to Saugerties Town Court on Wednesday. It couldn't be determined if they have lawyers.
Police say the men had an ongoing dispute.
