Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Two farm trucks collide in Wilton; one dead

WILTON - Two farming trucks collide in Wilton, leaving one driver dead and sending the other to the hospital.

State Police in Wilton say that at about 11:30 a.m. Friday, 33-year-old Justin Robbins of Wilton was traveling on King Road in a truck owned by Kings Ransom Farm in Northumberland.  76-year-old Lawrence Peck, in a truck owned by Clear Echo Farm in Northumberland, was traveling on Wall Street.

The two trucks collided, Peck was pronounced dead at the scene.  Robbins was transported to Albany Medical Center.

The accident is under investigation.
