Search continues for Craig Frear

GLENVILLE -- State Police and volunteers of Northeast Mobile Search and Rescue are spending Sunday morning searching for a missing teen.

June 27th will mark the ninth anniversary of the disappearance of 17 year old Craig A. Frear, the popular student at Scotia-Glenville High School who was to be captain of the soccer team in his senior year. On Sunday, a search of the wooded area behind the Glenville Price Chopper was conducted in conjunction to the disappearance case of Frear.

Officials investigating his disappearance continue to interview family members, co-workers, neighbors, classmates, and close friends. Craig had no vehicle or means of support at the time of his disappearance, and police have not ruled out foul play in his disappearance.

Family members have put up a $10,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of Craig's whereabouts and they along with law enforcement are appealing to the public to search their property for any signs of his disappearance.

Anyone with information on Craig Frear's whereabouts is asked to call the State Police Major Crimes in Latham at (518) 783-3211 or State Police Princetown at (518) 630-1700
