Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Air quality improving around Capitol Region

Have you noticed? The air is getting a bit cleaner in the Capital Region.
According to the American Lung Association's 2013 "State of the Air" report, when it comes to ozone in the air, Albany improves from a D rating to at C rating.
Albany only have four 'Orange' days in 2012, which are days that the air is unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Saratoga jumped from a D to a B rating, with only one "orange" day compared to seven "orange" days in 2011.
Five New York Counties got an F.
The cleanest city? Bismark North Dakota.
The worst? Los Angeles.
