Queensbury Man charged with stealing assistance benefits

QUEENSBURY - A 61-year-old man was arrested and charged with falsifying his income to receive medical assistance benefits.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office say James Sullivan of 80 Needle Park Circle in Queensbury filed Medicaid application forms containing false information obtaining more than $3,849 in Medicaid benefits.

Sullivan was charged with health care fraud, grand larceny, and offering a false instrument.

Sullivan was issued an appearance ticket and due back in court at the end of April.
