Snowstorm Well Underway - Periods of Heavy Snow and Difficult Travel into Tonight

Snowfall rates of 1" to at times 2" per hour are likely this afternoon and this evening across most of the area as low pressure passes to the region's south.  This will cause rapid accumulations and low visibility producing hazardous travel conditions.  The storm will begin winding down after 10-11pm with accumulating snow ending from west to east between 1am and 4am Thursday. 2 injured in broad daylight shooting on Central Ave.

ALBANY -- A woman and a man were hospitalized after they were shot on Central Avenue Monday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Central Avenue.
When Albany Police arrived, they found a 35-year-old woman shot in the foot and a 23-year-old man shot in the hip.
Both victims were taken to Albany Med and are expected to survive their injuries.
No arrests have been made but Albany Police do have a person of interest in custody.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a confrontation between people who all know each other.
