MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW STORM WED. THROUGH WED. NIGHT

Low pressure will quickly develop and move south of the New England coast through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning a fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Fact Finder: Sch. City School District students will be following new schedules

The Schenectady City School District students will be following a new schedule this year.
   
On September 6, elementary students enrolled in Elmer, FDR, Hamilton, Lincoln, Pleasant Valley, Van Corlaer, Keane, Woolawn, and Yates -- and those heading to the early childhood centers -- will now attend from 8 a.m to 2:15 p.m.

Students in kindergarten through eighth grade who attend Central Park, King, Paige, or Zoller will now be there from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
   
Meanwhile -- Mont Pleasant Middle School and Success Academy for middle school students will hold classes from 8:30 a.m. to 63:30 p.m.

High schools and those attending the Steinmetz Career and Leadership Academy will now be in class from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m -- unless those students follow an extended eight-period schedule -- their day will start at 7:30 a.m.
