Divers search for remains of missing teen, Jamie Lusher
BECKET, Mass. -- Authorities are to begin searching a large pond in western Massachusetts for the body of a teenager who disappeared more than 20 years ago.
The search comes a day after authorities announced that a man serving a life sentence for killing two children is also responsible for the death 16-year-old James Lusher. The youth was last seen leaving his home for a bike ride in 1992.
Hampden District Attorney Mark Mastroianni said at a news conference that Lewis Lent Jr. confessed to killing Lusher, known as "Jamie."
