Nor'easter to Bring a Heavy to Major Snowfall Monday Night into Tuesday Night

A major Nor'easter is expected to develop south of New England Monday night, potentially getting stuck near Cape Cod into Tuesday before moving away Tuesday night.  This storm will bring heavy snow and gusty wind at times causing blowing and drifting snow, potential whiteout conditions at times leading to dangerous travel late Monday night through Tuesday.  Snow accumulations of 10" to 20" will be possible, especially in the Hudson valley and across western New England with amounts up to 10" in the Mohawk valley and western Catskills.

Man charged, pleads guilty to sex with minor

GLOVERSVILLE - A Gloversville man was arrested Friday and charged with having a sexual relationship with an underage girl.

Gloversville Police say on October 3 of 2012, Gloversville High School coaches and officials contacted police that 61 year-old John Johnson  picked up an underage girl and brought her to his home at 18 James Street in Gloversville.

When police went to the home, Johnson refused to answer the door. 

A female was seen leaving the residence later in the evening from the back of the house.  Police located her and returned her to her parents.

Police say the sexual contact began when she was 15 and he was 60, and between the months of June through October, Johnson provided the girl with alcohol.

Johnson was charged with sexual misconduct and endangering the welfare of a child.  He was arraigned in Fulton County Court and pled guilty to the charges.

Sentencing is scheduled for a later date.
