UPDATE: Hoosick pilot in serious condition after plane crash

UPDATE:
The condition of the pilot, Stanton King, has been updated to serious.


HOOSICK FALLS -- The Hoosick pilot who crashed his plane into a Hoosick Falls field is listed in critical condition.

Hoosick Falls Police Chief Robert Ashe says 69-year-old Stanton King crashed his Cessna around noon on Sunday.

There was a small fire in the plane that was quickly extinguished after it came down.

There is no word on the cause of the crash however witnesses say the plane was having engine trouble at the time.

The FAA is currently investigating.
