Siena's Smith Gets More "Love"
LOUDONVILLE - Siena basketball player Just-in'Love Smith, a senior walk-on from East Greenbush, continues receiving all sorts of national attention. Last week, Smith appeared on ESPN2. This week, he's been nominated for the "God Shammgod" award which goes annually to the college basketball player with the best name.

UAlbany's Fran Urli, and BYU's Jimmer Fredette out of Glens Falls, are also on the God Shammgod Award watch list.
But Smith's name isn't the only reason people are taking notice. You see, following Columbia Columbia High School and then one year at Hudson Valley Community College, Smith joined the military and served in Iraq. Since returning home he played one more year of basketball at HVCC helping the Vikings to a #1 NJCAA national ranking. And now the 26-year-old is playing Division I basketball.
CBS6's Kelly O'Donnell will be profiling Smith later this week as he and the Saints prepare for their season opener Friday at Tennessee State.
