Shenendehowa hockey team 'psyched' about upcoming season
Not many high school hockey programs stage media days -- but not many teams have had success like Shenendehowa.
Head coach Juan de la Rocha and the six-time defending section-two champions smiled for the camera this morning in Clifton Park.
Shen has 13 players back from a year ago, including senior captains Kyle Hunter, A.J. Mangino and Scott Brayden.
"We don't have a lineup of superstars, but we've got a lot of great hockey players that just haven't had an opportunity to have their spot in the limelight due to the large graduating class last year," said De la Rocha. "We're pretty psyched and enthused about this season."
