ValleyCats Aim For NYPL Repeat

Updated: Wednesday, June 11 2014, 11:49 PM EDT
Troy, NY - Third baseman Adam Nelubowich is among a handful of returning members of the Tri-City ValleyCats, who won the 2013 New York-Penn League championship.

They're scheduled to open defense of the title this Friday night against Connecticut at Joe Bruno Stadium.

"Last year was great," said the former Washington State Cougar.  "I've never been part of a team like that."

The Houston Astros organization held a ring ceremony for the 2013 ValleyCats during spring training of this year.
