#1 Albany NEXRAD Storm Total Rainfall Estimate, 11:31pm Wednesday July 29, 2009: This is a close up on the flood zone over Greene, northern Columbia, and southern Rensselaer counties. The radar through 11:31pm was estimating up to 6" of rain had fallen in an areas around Kinderhook. WeatherNet 6 ground spotter reports indicated anywhere from 4.5" to 6.6" had fallen, verifying the radar estimate. Between approximately 1/2" and 3/4" of additional rainfall fell on this area through 8am Thursday.

#2 Albany NEXRAD Storm Total Rainfall Estimate, 11:38pm Wednesday July 29, 2009: A close up on the second excessive rain zone extending from eastern Fulton, northwest Saratoga to southern Warren counties. A general 3" to 5" of rain fell in this region verified by WeatherNet 6 ground spotter reports. Little additional rainfall fell on this region through Thursday morning.
