A 44-year-old Hudson man was arrested Thursday morning after showing up to have sex with who he thought was a 13-year-old girl he met on the Internet.

Ronald D. Wheeler had arranged to meet the girl -- who was actually a police informant -- at a McDonalds in Valtie.

He was charged with attempting to disseminate indecent material to a minor, which is a felony. Wheeler was arraigned in Greenport Court and is now at Columbia County Jail.
