A 47-year-old Delanson woman was arrested and charged with 22 counts of unlawfully dealing with a child after police say she provided beer to teenagers at her home.
Kathryn Goulden was arrested Friday at around 11:00 p.m. after state police in Princetown responded to a complaint of a loud party on Maple Avenue, police say.
According to police, the responding trooper observed around 20 teenagers drinking alcohol at the home.
Police say Goulden had provided several cases of beer to the teenagers.
The teens were directed to contact their parents for a ride home, and Goulden was processed at the Princetown barracks. She's expected to appear in court in Duanesburg on May 21st.
"Parents, other relatives and friends are reminded that providing alcohol to minors is a criminal offense that can result in the type of arrest made in this case," said state police spokesperson Maureen Tuffey in a press release. "More importantly, it can lead to the needless tragedies that occur all too often when young, inexperienced individuals combine drinking and driving."
