Part of Delaware Turnpike to close during DOT work
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A part of Delaware Turnpike will be closed beginning next Monday for road work, the state Department of Transportation announced.
Beginning September 28th, Route 85 and 443 between West Shore Drive and Gulf Hill Road in Berne and New Scotland will close to through-traffic to allow replacements of culverts.
The roads are expected to be closed for three week, or until October 19th, said the DOT.
Motorists should follow the signed detour using Route 157 and 157A.
