In second trial, Troy man found guilty in nightclub shooting case
Comments 0ALBANY -- A Troy man has been found guilty of Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in connection with the January 2008 shooting of Jesus Santiago following a fight at a Cohoes bar.
Kenneth Thomas, 25, of Troy, got a new trial because the judge didn't tell him his 22-year prison sentence would include five years of post-release supervision.
Thomas was facing 25 years in prison when he originally pleaded guilty to the shooting in September 2008.
Thomas will face the same when he's sentenced in September.
