UPDATED: Troy bank robbed of $16,000

A Bank of America branch on Third Street in Troy was robbed of $16,000 in cash Friday afternoon, according to a statement released by Troy Police on Friday evening.
The suspect did not display a weapon but handed a teller a note saying he had one in his possession. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Police are looking for a black male aged in his early twenties. He was wearing a black hoodie and is five-feet-six to five-feet-ten inches tall.
