Tonko endorses Gillibrand for US Senate
ALBANY -- In her continuing roll-out of endorsement announcements leading up to the 2010 election, US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced Monday she has secured an official announcement from N.Y. Congressman Paul Tonko.
"In the Mohawk Valley, Capital Region, and Washington, DC, I have seen first-hand Kirsten's tireless efforts to get New York back on the right track," said Congressman Tonko in a press release.
"Over the past ten months, Kirsten has taken an innovative approach to creating new jobs and rebuilding the economy so it works for New York families," Tonko said. "She is from the Capital Region and understands how these tough economic times are affecting our families. Kirsten works every day to improve the lives of families in every corner of New York state. I am proud to endorse her for the US Senate."
