Deadline to register to vote is tomorrow
There are just 25 days until the historic presidential election of 2008 -- but will you be able to vote on November 4th?
Don't forget: Friday, Oct. 10th is the deadline to register to vote in New York state. Completed mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked by midnight October 10th and received no later than October 15th for the upcoming General Election.
Residents who have moved to a new county must re-register from their new address.
Those who have moved to a new address in the same county do not have to re-register, but should provide their board of elections with their new address and to locate their new polling site.
On the ballot this year: Vice President and President of the United States, and all Congressional, State Senate and State Assembly seats.
A statewide ballot proposal will also appear on the ballot, as well as candidates for State Supreme Court Justice in most judicial districts.
