With taxes high, some Capital Region smokers turn to e-cigarettes

Cigarette taxes have gone up in New York State, and some people are finding alternatives, such as e-cigarettes.
You can buy them around here, but the FDA wants to see them regulated because they say the chemicals in them aren't safe.
No tobacco, no paper -- they're made of plastic.
But they still deliver nicotine.
A dealer in Rotterdam said they’re an alternative to cigarettes -- not an aide to help people quit.
