Troy school improvement referendum vote today
February 10, 2010 5:49 AM
TROY -- Voters head to the polls today to decide if they want to spend more than $56 million to improve some of the city's schools.
If the referendum on the ballot passes, the improvement projects will be eligible for state aid funding and grants.
But knowing the financial crisis the state faces, our fact finders called the school district to see if they're worried about the money being there.
Officials told CBS 6 if the referendum is approved, they are guaranteed the state money.
Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The results will be available online as soon as they come in.
