The call girl at the center of the scandal that brought down former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer says she'll never go back to prostitution.
Instead, Ashley Alexandra Dupre says she envisions a future that includes music, fashion and "writing books."
The 23-year-old has also apologized to Spitzer's wife. She says she didn't know her client was the New York governor until she saw him resigning on national television.
Dupre recalls that Spitzer was polite and businesslike when they met. On her attorney's advice, she won't elaborate on their liaison. She does say that Spitzer dressed casually and says she didn't see his security detail.
Four people have pleaded guilty to running the prostitution operation. Last week, federal prosecutors said they had decided not to bring criminal charges against Spitzer.
Dupre has been talking to People magazine and ABC's "20/20," which plans to air an interview Friday.
