Major League Baseball officials are apparently next in line to meet with Albany County district attorney David Soares as his investigation into internet sales of steroids continues, according to the Daily News.
The paper reported Monday that MLB representatives are pledging their cooperation with Soares to find out which, if any, players were involved in buying steroids over the Internet.
DA Soares made public his involvement back in February, when he went down to Orlando to raid Signature Pharmacy.
In the last few months, Soares has met with NFL officials, which led to the suspension of a New England Patriots player.
The Daily News is also reproting that in exchange for MLB's cooperation, the DA's office will share information on several players who got the performance on several players who got the performance-enhancing drugs from Signature Pharmacy.
