GARRRISON -- It's hunting season in New York state and many hunters will be looking for places to donate the deer meat they harvest.
Today, Sen. Chuck Schumer will be in Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties to announce his legislation providing a tax benefit to hunters who donate their processed venison to anti-hunger programs.
Schumer is holding news conferences in Garrison, Wappingers Falls and Mountainville to discuss his legislation.
