Comments 0 | Recommend 0Kipp Tech Valley charter school in Albany kicked off its fifth school year today.
Last year Kipp Tech Valley was the only public charter school in New York State to have 100% of it's eighth graders at or above grade level on the state tests in both English/Language Arts and Mathmatics.
Along with that, Kipp Tech Valley was just one of 13 schools in the state to achieve that feat.
The school runs these mandatory summer sessions that conclude at the end of August.
The summer sessions are held to allow teachers, students and parents become acquainted with Kipp's expectations.
Tune into CBS 6 news tonight between 5:00 - 7:00pm to see more on the Kipp Tech valley's first day back.
