Nine women arrested for prostitution in Schenectady

Schenectady Police and New York State Police arrested nine women during a prostitution sting Wednesday morning, according to a statement released by police on Wednesday evening.

The women are awaiting arraignment in Schenectady City Court.

Under arrest were Lakeysha Mills, 30, of Schenectady; Doris R. Thomas, 49; Sarah D. Golden, 30, of Schenectady; Juanita Anne Torres, 37, of Schenectady; Minnie E. Williams, 46, of Schenectady; Summer Y. Smith, 32, of Saratoga Springs; Margaret M. Hacker, 43, of Schenectady; Maria D. Redman, 50, of Schenectady; and Issa V. Taylor, 30, of Schenectady.
