Police are investigating a body pulled from the Hoosac River in North Adams, Mass. Wednesday morning, the Berkshire County District's Attorney Office said today.
The body of an unidentified white male was pulled from the river at around 10 Wednesday morning by North Adams Fire Department members. The body was found in the river along Route 2 just east of the Sacco Bridge, said DA David Capeless.
An autopsy that was scheduled for Thursday at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Holyoke has been postponed until late Friday, possibly Saturday. Police say further information will be released after the autopsy.
